Compliance
Using your CPAP machine consistently isn’t just about following instructions—it’s about improving your health, ensuring your therapy’s success, and maintaining insurance coverage.
Why CPAP Compliance Matters
CPAP therapy is one of the most effective treatments for sleep apnea, but for it to work, you need to use it regularly. Many insurance providers, including Medicare, require proof of compliance to continue covering your CPAP device and supplies. More importantly, staying consistent with therapy can significantly improve your sleep, energy levels, and overall health.
We’ve tried to simplify the compliance process as much as possible. To learn more about how it works, watch the video below.
Most insurance providers, including Medicare, define CPAP compliance as:
✔️ Using your CPAP for at least 4 hours per night
✔️ Using your CPAP on at least 70% of nights over a 30-day period
If you don’t meet these requirements, your insurance may stop covering your CPAP equipment, meaning you could be responsible for the cost.
The Benefits of Staying Compliant
Better Sleep & More Energy – Wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.
Reduced Health Risks – Regular CPAP use helps lower the risk of heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure.
Continued Insurance Coverage – Compliance ensures your insurance continues covering your CPAP equipment and supplies.
Fewer Doctor Visits – Effective therapy reduces complications, preventing costly medical issues down the line.
Improved Quality of Life – Sleeping well positively impacts your mood, concentration, and overall well-being.
